Wisecats - Children Assisted to Soar.

Writing Cats enables children to interactively construct sentences, and to practice wiritng words.

A set of words are put on one half of the screen in a random order. The child can then listen to a song sung using these words. Their task is to then drag the words to a writing page on the other half of the screen, and arrange them in the same order as they are heard in the song.

When they get the sentence right, they are rewarded with fun sounds and congratulation messages.

There is one sentence for each letter in the alphabet. Children can work through the alphabet, creating their book of alphabet sentences. Their work is automatically saved. So, the sentences they have created in one session are still in place when they start the app again - so they can gradually work their way through the available letters.

The completed pages can be put into a writing mode, whereby each word in the sentence can be finger-written on screen, and the result of the finger writing displayed as the word.

The variety of interactive activites mean this app is a fun way to learn to write letters and create sentences.

The app can be configred to use one of three accents (US, UK, NZ) for songs, saying words and naming letters.

The app can be set up with up to 4 login names, so different children can login with their own name. The sentences and writing done when logged in with one name are saved separately from those done under another login name. So, each child can save their work separately, and each can build up their own alphabet book at their own pace.

Get started with this lite version, that provides 5 letters of the alphabet. The full version provides the whole alphabet.
